Pediatric Orthodontics

I dedicate myself with particular attention to pediatric orthodontics, addressing dental and skeletal problems in growing children. Early and targeted intervention can make a significant difference in the development of your smile and oral health.

Pediatric orthodontics is not limited to tooth alignment: it includes evaluating issues related to mouth breathing, narrow palate, reverse bite, and other anomalies that, if left untreated, may require far more complex interventions in adulthood.

What I treat in children

Early intervention

Intercepting problems during the development phase allows us to reduce the complexity and duration of future treatments.

Breathing and posture

I treat issues related to mouth breathing, which can negatively influence the development of the palate and maxilla.

Skeletal development

In growing children, it is possible to guide the development of the jaw bones with functional orthopedic appliances.

First visit at ages 6-7

The European Orthodontic Association recommends an initial orthodontic evaluation no later than age 7.

If your child is 6-7 years old or you notice problems in the way they breathe, chew, or speak, an initial orthodontic visit is the right step. Contact me for a no-obligation evaluation.
